The new Ricoh MP C2004 and MP C2504 devices join the MP C3004 series in Ricoh’s line of color MFPs targeting small to mid-sized businesses. Similar to these devices, the MP C2004 and MP C2504 offer standard printing, copying, and scanning as well as optional faxing.

The MP C2004 prints and copies at 20ppm in black and color. It has a first page copy time of 7.6 seconds in color. The MP C2504 has an engine speed of 25ppm in both black and color; Your first page copy time is 7.5 seconds in color.

Both MFPs start with a 1.33GHz processor, 2GB of memory and 250GB of the hard drive. Users can optionally add another 250GB hard drive and additional memory that maximizes at 4GB. The PCL and PDF print language are standard, but PostScript is only offered as an option. USB and Ethernet connectivity is standard and Ricoh offers optional parallel and wireless connectivity. Mobile printing is supported through the Ricoh Smart Device Connector application.

Ricoh has enhanced its control panel by providing a 10.1 “touchscreen with touch and slide functionality called the Smart Operation Panel. Users can customize their own commonly accessed workflows such as one-touch or copy printing, applications, or Users can download widgets and applications from the Ricoh application site.

The MP C2004 and MP C2504 offer powerful features for offices that have color and multifunction needs but do not require advanced features from the faster Ricoh devices.
