Brother DCP-L2560DW Driver Download
Reviews– Brother DCP-L2560DW is a simple and easy-to monochrome 3-in-1 laser printer, used for printing, copying and scanning documents.
It was a snap to get the machine on the air. On a black / white laser printer is it the only one toner cartridge to be in place, which was a simple matter, in this case, and it went too quickly to get installed drivers and software.
Also for those without cd / DVD reader
Fortunately Brother among those who have realized that more and more of us use computers without CD / DVD reader. In the test of these printers, we have partly used an Apple MacBook Air and partly a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. None of these PCs are equipped with CD / DVD reader, but it was easy to find the relevant files on Brothers website.
From iPhone, we could print documents with the same Brother app which we used in the test of inkjet MFC-J4620DW, called iPrint & Scan, and there was no difficulty finding the printer on the wireless network.
Best Text
A black / white printer of this type is primarily a text printer, and text documents print it out pretty quickly. Print our text test document of 50 pages at 600 dpi on plain copy paper took one minute and 39 seconds, which corresponds to a print speed of 30ppm. And that’s just the speed Brother has specified for this printer.
The choices of output are slightly different on a laser printer than an inkjet printer. On this machine, we had a choice of 300 dpi, 600 dpi and 1200 dpi, and five paper type.
Driving out our 50-page test document with text only gave approximately the same speed regardless of whether we wrote out in the resolution of 300 dpi or 600 dpi. Saving thus no time by putting down the resolution, but it is possible that you save a little toner. We saw that text quality was somewhat reduced but so small that we almost had to use a magnifying glass to see that the letters were a little jagged.
In our assessment was print quality at reduced resolution totally ok for normal use. In 600, dpi printing is very good.
A monochrome laser printer is of course not intended for printing photographs, but we seem printer came out ahead in the printing of our Photoshop test in A4 format. We drove out a 1200 dpi printing at a scant eight seconds, which is considerably faster than running out the same image on an ink-based color printer. But it’s an unfair comparison.
The suggested retail price of Brother’s 2300 crowns including VAT. According to Prisjakt.no sold however printer mostly for around 1800 kroner including shipping and tax.
